Roughly one in four Oklahomans are living with a mental health disorder, with hundreds of thousands more facing substance use challenges. Led by the Oklahoma City Fire Department, Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) expands the city’s emergency response by providing licensed counselors, paramedics, and trained professionals as an alternative to police and EMS, ensuring the right care for those experiencing behavioral health or addiction crises.
In collaboration with the OKC Public Safety Partnership and the City’s Crisis Intervention Advisory Group, Koch Comm partnered with the Oklahoma City Fire Department to launch the MIH program through a comprehensive public relations campaign. The work included a turnkey press kit, branding, messaging strategy, website design and development, six program videos, eleven social media videos, community outreach and City Council presentations, and graphic design for program support materials.
